Heavy rain made the final set-up on the morning of the parade a gauntlet. But when weather-god closed the rain gates just in time for the warm-up, there was no stopping the party people. Yes, the 850,000 visitors even danced to the sound of the 28 Love Mobiles in intermittent sunshine and a pleasant 24 degrees Celsius. 

With the motto "Colours Of Unity", the organizers drew attention to the colorful Street Parade. A picture can only be colorful if different colors are allowed and can unfold their effect together. The colors were representative of the values of people of different skin colors, religion or sexual orientation. 
The artwork was designed by Zurich graphic artist and illustrator Demian5. He has established himself in the international art scene with his experimental webcomics and ventured out to the Street Parade.

International dance labels like "Elrow" from Barcelona, "Ants" from Ibiza and "Katermukke" from Berlin were part of the parade. "Elrow" staged its own spectacular world at Bürkliplatz, "Ants" and "Katermukke" drove through the crowd with their own Love Mobiles. The Street Parade was also broadcast by ARTE Concert for the first time. Amelie Lens' closing reached over 1.3 million views on ARTE Concert's Youtube stream.
