Because of major building works, the 24th Street Parade was held for the first time at the end of August. With temperatures reaching a summery 32 degrees and in glorious sunshine, around 1 million people made the pilgrimage to the lakeside in Zurich.

The fact that the Street Parade was able to take place at all this year was thanks to dozens of building workers, planners and engineers from the «Bellevue» building site. The Street Parade Association invited everyone involved for a drink on the spot. City Councillor Filippo Leutenegger expressed his gratitude to everyone in a vote of thanks.

Echo winner Robin Schulz opened the Street Parade in dazzling style on Love Mobile No.1. An unprecedented line-up of chart toppers and club legends entertained the mass audiences from the Love Mobiles and the 6 stages. The mood was relaxed and friendly. For the first time, the Street Parade was broadcast live by MTV.
