2018

LEAD:

CULTURE OF TOLERANCE

MAIN:

Techno is culture and stands for tolerance. With the slogan "Culture of tolerance", the organizers made it clear that techno as a tolerant culture has grown into an important part of our society. The artwork was designed by the Zurich artist Ona Sadkowski.

Long before the first beat from the "Mainstage Opéra" box towers, Sechseläuten-Platz was jam-packed. No wonder, the Berlin artist and festival act Paul Kalbrenner ignited a two-hour musical fireworks right at the beginning of the event.

Almost eleven hours later, a "real" fireworks lit up the Zurich night sky in the same place. This is Street Parade Premiere. Just before midnight, the stage fireworks petards and rockets fired at Pan-Pot's DJ set and heralded the final moments of the 2018 Street Parade.

The Spanish party label Elrow hosted the "Center Stage" on the Bürkliplatz. Top DJs, spectacular shows, confetti power, oversized figures, birds of paradise and stilt walkers: the "Cirque du Soleil" of electronic music transformed the location into a colorful theater spectacle.

With the Supermarket, Bellevue, Klaus, the "Acts" as well as various organizers well-known Zurich clubs were back with their own Love Mobile after years of absence. In addition to many other highlights on wheels, the international labels Vagabundos (ES) and the bpm Festial (POR) enriched the move. The association Street Parade provides the Zurich clubs with @night a communication platform.
